14 Things No One Born After 1999 Would Believe Ever Existed

14 Things No One Born After 1999 Would Believe Ever Existed

Sometimes it's hard to believe that there are people born in the 2000s. I still remember a time when people that were several classes below me were being born in the early '90s. Being so old means one thing, though, you get to remember how brilliant life was in the '80s and '90s.

In hindsight, some of the stuff we found luxurious and state-of-the-art back in the day was just horribly tacky, or clunky. Kids these days (yep, I just said that) are going to be laughing at us after they see this list...

Check out this list of 14 things people born before 1999 won't believe ever existed.

SHARE this with your friends on Facebook. They need some nostalgia today.

1. Having to blow your game cartridge because it stopped working frequently.

2. This top-of-the-line screensaver.

3. Kids everywhere in your neighborhood doing THIS.

4. This elite laptop.

5. This dude named Mr. Bean.

He happens to be awesome, too.

6. Saving a school project on one of these.

7. Special effects like this, all the time...

...and words like this, all the time.

8. Dewey Decimal System. The way you would find your books at a building called the library.

Somehow literacy rates haven't skyrocketed since this went out of style.

9. This.

10. Workout clothes like this.

The lunges were acceptable, too.

11. My PVR.

12. Yes, mouse technology was powered by a ball and a tiny ring that would fall out A LOT.

13. These guys were considered alpha males.

14. This guy. Recognize him?

SHARE this article with your Facebook friends who were around in the '80s and '90s. They will love the trip down memory lane.

15 Pictures That Show How We've Always Celebrated St. Patrick's Day

15 Pictures That Show How We've Always Celebrated St. Patrick's Day

There's no place on Earth quite like the Emerald Isle. For such a small island, the great mossy land has produced some of the finest books, poets, and songs the world has ever known. It's famous for its wool, its dancing, its sweeping green fields and jagged cliffs, its history-steeped castles and, of course, its whiskey.

Although Ireland has a sad past, the rest of the world is richer for it. We've gained proud neighbors who are only too happy to share their rich, influential culture with the rest of us.

And for one day, we all get to celebrate the best Ireland has to offer. Who wouldn't want to celebrate that?

The Stars Of 'Toddlers And Tiaras' Look Like THIS Now

The Stars Of 'Toddlers And Tiaras' Look Like THIS Now

Toddlers and Tiarasaired on TLC for five long years. Those years were full of angry viewers, pretty disturbed by the show. It was also full of people who thought it was hilarious to watch these pageant parents who were pretty insane, to say the least. Since the show has been off the air, these toddlers have grown up, and it's pretty crazy to see what they look like these days.

SHAREif you're surprised by these transformations!

1. Three year old Paisley Dickey wore the prostitute costume from Pretty Woman and it definitely stirred up a lot of controversy.

Not like the show didn't do that on its own.

She still dabbles in the spotlight every now and then, appearing in commercials and even getting into music.

2. Remember this blonde beauty, Eden Wood?

Well she's now 11 years old and just recently starred as Darla inThe Little Rascals Save the Day.She also seems to be balancing her showbiz life appropriately with a regular childhood.

3. Taralyn Eschberger was that adorable little redhead everybody loved.

Aren't these super airbrushed head shots kind of creepy?

She's in grade six now, and while she occasionally still competes in pageants, she's also really into music. She even has her own YouTube channel you can check out!

4. Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson was probably the most memorable of the contenders. She went on to star in her own show with her family, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

She's sporting a bit of a more mature look these days, and although her show's been cancelled, her family still gets up to their regular redneck antics.

5. Madison "Tootie" Berg was far from being a toddler on the show, but still packed just as much (if not more) sass than the other pageant-goers.

Madison is in high-school now. No word on if she's dropped the attitude these days...

But she's still competing in beauty pageants – and winning.

Toddlers and Tiaras was one of those shows that you either hated on HARD... or it was your guilty pleasure. The sass on some of these girls was unreal.  COMMENTand tell us which pageant star you loved the most!

Inspiring Quotes About Living Life From Oprah Winfrey

Inspiring Quotes About Living Life From Oprah Winfrey

Oprah is one of the most successful people on the planet — I don't think there's anyone who would disagree with that.

She has proven herself to be wise, energetic, supportive, and always positive — a trait that is rare and also very needed, especially with the state the world is in right now. In 2013, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Obama, an award that is saved for the civilians who have made a significant impact on world peace, or who have made monumental cultural or public accomplishments.

Let's take a look at some of her inspiring words.
