The 11 Most Iconic Bond Girls Decades Later

There are movie series that transcend their era.

James Bond was perfect for three things: guns, gadgets and the most gorgeous women on the planet.

But since I can't exactly write an article on a then and now of a semi-automatic weapon used in the movies, I'm going to take a look at what happened to the women who played the "Bond Girls."

1. Honor Blackman in Goldfinger

Blackman was the unforgettable Pussy Galore, who goes down as the most iconic name in Bond history. The now 91-year-old went on to be a singer and show up in movies and television shows.

2. Ursula Andress in Dr. No.

She kicked off the the whole "Bond Girl" thing way back when she waded out of the ocean in Dr. No. It's one of the most iconic things in the cinematic history.

This is her nowadays. She's shown up in other classic films like The Mountain of the Cannibal God, The Fifth Musketeerand Clash of the Titans.

3. Shirley Eaton in Goldfingerthen...

She played Jill Masterson, who was the visually iconic gold-covered character in Goldfinger.

This is 79-year-old Shirley Eaton

She starred in the Sumuru movies but retired from acting in 1969.

4. Izabella Scorupco in GoldenEye

She played Natalya Fyodorovna Simonova in GoldenEyeand was the first woman Pierce Brosnan had to fall for during his stint.


5. Claudine Auger in Thunderball.

The French actress went on to become Miss France Monde and stuck to acting in minor movie roles after playing Dominique "Domino" Derval.


6. Lana Wood in Diamonds Are Foreverwas unmistakable for her name...

Now 70, Lana Wood showed up literally everywhere in her career, including Mission: Impossible, Police Story, Starsky and Hutchand Fantasy Island.

She also wrote Natalie, A Memoir by Her Sisterin 1984.

7. Barbara Bach in The Spy Who Loved Me.

The 69-year-old married ex-Beatle Ringo Starr, got a master degree at UCLA and now focuses her efforts on charity work. Woo!

8. Gloria Hendry in Live And Let Die.

After being Rosie Carver opposite Roger Moore in his first Bond movie, she went on to star in Black Caesar and its sequel Hell Up In Harlem.

9. Lois Chiles played Holly Goodhead in Moonraker.

Lois Chiles acted in the epic series Dallas, Disney TV movie Wish Upon a Star and Speed 2: Cruise Control.


10. Halle Berry was Jinx Johnson in Die Another Day.

She was already a superstar and has continued to climb higher, showing up in the X-Men movies, Monster's Ball, and Cloud Atlas.

11. And finally, Rosamund Pike was in Die Another Day as a Bond girl.

She's shown up in a bunch of different things like Gone Girl, and they've only solidified how awesome she is.
