5 Awkward AF Times Celebs Called Their BF Their Brother

So it doesn't matter if you watched Dexter, all you need to know is that in the show the serial killer character has the hots for his sister.

But that's just a TV show. Now it's not the same thing but there have been some weird times when celebs have said the person they were banging is like their brother. Or sister.

1. Way back when love made sense (2010), Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were only a rumor when they were touring together. 

But I mean they weren't an official thing at that point.

“He’s little. He’s like my little brother. That’s weird to me," is what she said to Ellen in this minute clip.

Man, Ellen starts off the question off so subtly...

When they started dating, she had to go back on Ellenand was CALLED OUT. “Don’t take me to jail,” Selena pleaded after Ellen replayed the earlier clip.

2. Lea Michele and Cory Monteith was basically #RelationshipGoals and adorbs but when Glee was hot, she was asked if she crushed on him like their characters did. She said:

“No, I don’t have a crush on Cory! Rachel has a massive crush on him. He’s like my brother.”

But then what about Chrissy Teigen and Demi Lovato — yeah, they make this list too...

3. Coldplay's lead singer Chris Martin and his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow get along for the sake of their kids. BUT that doesn't excuse when she said:

4. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are a MASSIVE power couple and she's blunt about her relationship and the icky parts of babies. But she introduced him on awards stage saying:

He's “like a brother to her.”

Yeah. Us.

Demi Lovato was in a hot fling with someone she said she does stuff that you'd only do in front of your bros...

Back in 2008, Demi Lovato said that when she after spending time with the Jonas Brothers that they became her siblings. She even started dating Joe soon after.

“I even put on my glasses and wear sweatpants around them because you wouldn’t put makeup on for just your brothers.” 

Whoa, gurl.

Even after it ended, she said her and Joe "argue like brother and sister." 

Better than hating each other though, right?
