But holy smokes, you would think that security at one of the year's prestige events would be a little tighter than this. Somebody's going to have a lot of uncomfortable questions to answer. And these guys will have a story they'll tell until they're wrinkled and gray and sneaking into retirement homes.
With tickets in the thousands of dollars – even the cheapest seat was going for $1,500 – and security having almost three years to prepare, Super Bowl LI was supposed to be the most difficult game to see live in America.
Unless, of course, you happen to be four dudes with a ladder.
TMZ caught these four guys walking around outside NRG Stadium in Houston with a ladder after the big game.
They can't even contain their glee or believe that all four of them simply walked past security and into the Super Bowl to watch the whole game.
As one guy points out, "You're important if you have a ladder."
And it turns out luck was on their side because they didn't even have the ladder when they set out that night. "We just found this on the side of the road over there," they admitted.
