Chance The Rapper is quickly becoming everybody's new favorite artist and it's easy to see why - he's awesome! The Chicago native's infectious energy and witty wordplay have catapulted the 23 year-old to the top of the rap game. With his songs consistently dominating the charts and his concerts selling out left and right, no wonder he's on the forefront of everyone's mind. Still on the fence about him? Well, you won't be after this...

1. Each of Chance's parents hold important jobs in the government. His father is the Deputy Chief of Staff for Chicago mayor, Rahm Emanuel. While his mother currently works in the Illinois Attorney General's office.

2. Chance was ranked #7 on the Forbes "30 Under 30" Music list in 2015. Not too shabby...

3. Taylor, his younger brother, is also a rapper. This family is full of talent! 

4. Chance loves his hometown of Chicago. So much so, the rapper started an annual music festival for his beloved city called, "The Magnificent Coloring Day." With it, he was able to create some job opportunities, in addition to raising some much-needed money for the city. Incredible. I don't think Chance even knows how to slow down!
