You know when you're pretty much done your jar of Nutella but you can still see all of that deliciousness on the sides and bottom of the jar? You could TRY to get your hand into the jar to get every last bit of hazelnut chocolatey goodness, but, trust me, that is a difficult and messy situation that doesn't work well. You COULD get a mini spatula and try to scrape out every nook and cranny, but that is a pain in the butt and usually ends in a lot of cursing. These are both sub-par solutions to a serious issue. No Nutella should go unenjoyed. SO, here at Diply, we've found the PERFECT solution for you, and it's amazingly delicious.
What you'll need:
- 1-2 tbsp cocoa
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional...but only if you're used to DARK chocolate)
- 1 mug hot milk (125 degrees Fahrenheit)
- jar of almost done Nutella
- whipped cream (also optional...but who would choose not to have whipped cream?)
The method:
Add the cocoa, sugar, and hot milk, straight into the jar of almost finished Nutella. Secure the lid back on the jar. Shake it. Shake it. Shake it like a....well, you get the idea. Pour into a mug. Add your whipped cream. Or marshmallows. And let your worries melt away.
Pro-tip: This would be amazing with a peanut butter jar too.
