12 Factory Rejects That Should Never See The Light Of Day

SHARE
Most of the time, you can expect the products you buy to look and work just like every other one made by that brand. For the better part of a century, each factory has had a specific, standardized process in place to ensure each customer gets exactly the product they're expecting. While this can mean that it doesn't have the charm or personality of something that's been specially crafted, it also means you shouldn't get any unpleasant surprises.

Of course, we all know that's not always how it works. Everybody makes mistakes and it doesn't seem to matter if there are people putting these things together or robots. Eventually, you're going to get some weirdly made products that will somehow find their way out into the world.

I'm sure we can all remember a sketchy snack that we passed over, but these 12 manufacturing bloopers have each made their own unique marks.

Be sure to COMMENT and tell us about your biggest defective finds.

1. Looks like somebody forgot you can't click on magazines.

Maybe that has something to do with why the magazine industry is starting to die off.

2. This popsicle picked up an extra stick along the way.

I wonder, would this make it easier or harder to eat?

3. This mistake would have been pretty clever if they did it on purpose.

After all, Terminators seem to have a knack for losing their arms.

4. Sometimes, factory visitors can get bags of defective products as a parting gift.

For instance, these are supposed to be Nerds, but I think they accidentally invented a whole new candy.

It's funny how familiar products can get so unrecognizable when something messes up. See if you can guess what this next one is supposed to be.

5. You can sort of tell what these abominations are supposed to be if you squint hard enough.

Apparently Subway bread comes in frozen sticks that you're supposed to thaw in the walk-in cooler overnight. If you just leave them out, this is what can happen.

6. Of course, sometimes defective products can be kind of cool.

This Cheerio cluster honestly looks more appetizing to me than the normal ones.

7. Here we have a Twizzler that missed out on its twisting.

Well, either that or a red vine somehow snuck into the Twizzler factory.

8. Yeah, this pre-packaged salad really shouldn't have come with a ladybug.

Although considering that it's not unheard of for venomous spiders to sneak into banana bunches, it could definitely be worse.

Of course, these factory slip-ups are just as likely to take away as they are to give.

9. This Kit Kat Chunky is missing its trademark wafer.

I guess that just leaves you with a perfectly normal chocolate bar, then.

10. Sometimes it's not immediately clear what's wrong with something.

So when one user sent this back, they decided to include a helpful sign.

11. Looks like this pasta dish is going to have some extra long pieces.

Only the trickiest of noodles can wriggle past the cutters.

12. Yeah, I'm not sure how permanent this license plate is.

To be fair, I guess they said the plate itself is permanent. They didn't say anything about the paint on it.
