The journeys we take are just as much about how we get there as they are the destination. Truly adventurous souls look for those odd ways to travel, not content with freeways and jumbo jets. And there are few stranger ways to go places than taking a Swincar. But it will take you just about anywhere!
This isn't your typical all-terrain quad – it's the Swincar, and its spider-like design allows it to go places and do things most quads couldn't dream of.
In fact, it can climb a 70 percent grade and drive along a 50 percent incline, all while keeping the driver steady.
The Swincar uses four independent suspension systems that keep the driver at a constant level, regardless of the angle being climbed.
It's all based on a pendulum mechanism that tilts to keep things balanced.
In motion, it's sort of like driving a wave.
The axles can even cross over to keep the Swincar stable. Can't you just see this being the next lunar rover? Or maybe Mars rover?
