I used to paint my nails all the time, but I got sick of having gross, chipped nails. I bite my nails, which is my worst habit and something I think is really gross (nobody's perfect, okay?). These tips will keep your mani glowing and going for dayz. Protip #1: don't do your nails right before bed, on your laptop. You will fall asleep and wake up with nail polish in your hair. 1. Make sure your nails are clean before you paint them. 

2. If you apply artificial nails yourself, do it the right way to maximize their effectiveness. 

3. Make your colors even brighter by applying a coat of white underneath the color. 

4. Don't destroy your nails taking off glitter polish.

5. Keep polish on your nails and not all over your hands with Vaseline. 

6. Fix a broken nail with a piece of teabag.
