15 Marvel Movie Mistakes That Nobody Noticed Until Now

SHARE
Whenever a superhero film hits the box office, it always tends to perform very well. Especially, if it's a Marvel movie. The rabid comic book fan base that they've been able to acquire over the many years is not only loyal - it's vigilant. These die hard lovers of the Marvel Universe are quick to notice any imperfections or inconsistencies when their beloved heroes are immortalized on the big screen. We've done a little bit of homework, and found a shocking number of mistakes in some of the most popular Marvel movies. You may want to sit down for these...

1. During a battle scene in The Avengers, moviegoers witness Captain America's suit take on some pretty gnarly damage throughout the fight. However, in the final scene, his suit is fully restored and looks brand new. Hmm...Care to explain yourself, Captain?

2. You may have noticed this one scene in Thor, where he miraculously un-dents the bumper of a car. Wow. I wish my mechanic worked that fast!

3. In Spider-Man, when Peter's first getting the bearings of his abilities, he slings a lamp across the room - breaking it. But, in the next scene, we can see that familiar lamp back to its original glory. Explain that, Marvel!

4. In The Incredible Hulk, there's a scene where Bruce Banner is in need of some cash that was previously shown tightly tucked in his wallet. However, when things intensify, that money is out and easily accessible. Interesting. I bet Hulk would like to have a "word" with the editors about this flub.

5. It would be a hard task to find someone that didn't love Guardians of the Galaxy. But did you know that the famous tape used in the film is actually a model of cassette that didn't come out until 1993? It wouldn't be a big deal, but the film clearly started out in the year 1988. And those numbers just doesn't add up, people...

6. Dr. Doom has the ability to basically obliterate anyone he chooses, yet he didn't use his powers on the Fantastic 4? Why? Does he potentially have a soft spot for justice?

7. Captain America: First Avenger has it's fair share of errors. For example, these coordinates are all wrong. You would've thought somebody would've caught this before it was too late. Guess not...

8. Spider-Man finds himself in fights all the time, leaving his suit scuffed and tattered from battle. Yet, just moments later, we see his mask is miraculously cleaned! Perhaps he's got some soap mixed in with those webs...

9. There's a scene in Iron Man where we can see Gwyneth Paltrow speaking on a bluetooth headset. But mere shots later, that device is nowhere to be found. I wonder whatever happened to it.

10. In X-Men: First Class, there's a beautifully shot scene in which Magneto approaches a small town in Argentina by the name of Villa Gesell. As you can see, this place is surrounded by mountains. But, in actuality, Villa Gesell is a stunning beachfront town right on the water. Weird, right?

11. Iron Man 3 features a scene in which Air Force One is shot at. We even see a window penetrated by an errant bullet. This would never be the case in real life, however. Seeing as how the windows on Air Force One are (obviously) bulletproof. Nice try, Marvel.

12. The film X-Men Origins: Wolverine is supposed to be set in Canada. Yet, there's a scene where a sign on the wrong side of the road is visible. This is a dead giveaway that they shot the entire movie in New Zealand. Still, this is one mistake that left even Wolverine, himself, a little confused...

13. I think we all remember the part in Iron Man where we see Tony Stark's bleeding stop out of absolutely nowhere. That one still has me scratching my head...

14. Remember in The Amazing Spider-Man when Peter found himself covered in wooden planks and rubble - only for it to be magically removed seconds later? So do we, and we still can't figure out what happened to all that debris (and I don't think we ever will).

15. Long ago, Marvel decided to let scientific accuracy fall far down their priorities list. There's even basic physics that they choose to ignore. One element they brazenly do away with is the sound barrier. An example of this is prevalent when the Jericho missile (from Iron Man) can be heard just before it explodes. In the real world, you'd see it happen and then you'd hear the sound. That's just basic science, Marvel. C'mon now, you're better than that!

16. SHARE if these mistakes make you want to re-watch all these movies!
