Drinking Coffee Can Undo The Damage From Your Weekend Bender

SHARE
Most of us like to enjoy a night or three of drinking with our friends during the week. What we don't enjoy is people telling us that we're going to have to pay for it. If you're anything like me, you probably just brush that advice off and enjoy another rum and coke. We are young and nothing can hurt us, right? Unfortunately, cirrhosis of the liver is a huge problem for those who drink on a regular basis.

Sorry for being a downer, but I come with good news! There is a scientifically-proven way to heal your liver from all of that abuse.

SHARE this amazing news with your weekly drinking buddies!

If you're anything like me, this is you on a Friday after work.

And this is you Saturday morning with a mind-numbing hangover.

The sad thing is, your headache isn't the only damage done by the alcohol  your liver just took a beating as well.

But what if I told you that there is a way to reverse that damage by having something you probably already love?

Coffee can reverse liver damage from drinking alcohol!

In particular, the risk of cirrhosis, a disease of the liver, is reduced by drinking coffee. Data in this study found a 44% lower risk of developing cirrhosis in those who drink two cups of coffee a day.

Doctors warn that this doesn't mean that all aspects of drinking will be okay if you have coffee.

Obesity and the dangerous cardiovascular effects of alcohol still result from drinking. At this point we don't know what in coffee actually protects the liver.

So next time you go with your friends to get some marvelously greasy food to cure that hangover, keep getting refills of that brew.
