We all complain from time to time. From the car not starting to catching a cold, times are tough for everyone relative to their status quo of problems. Awaiting 1, 2 And 3
These two adorable little ladies were patiently awaiting a big surprise with their parents, Joey and Casi Rott. The family of four was about to become a family of seven overnight, and they couldn't be happier. Though news of triplets was likely a shock, the family watched as Casi's baby belly grew and the excitement, as you can see on these girls' faces, was high. Planning the little things like a suitable nursery and getting three of everything was all the family had to worry about in the months before Mama gave birth. Everything was looking good for all three little ones and their mother too.
A Glowing Mother
Casi was overjoyed to be carrying the triplets, even though the toll on her body was massive. Mothers who deliver multiples, especially this many, struggle with three times the back pain, three times the stretch marks and three times the risks. The Rotts, however, had every reason to believe their delivery was a successful one. Casi delivered the babies by C-section, and though the little ones had to stay at the hospital, Casi was sent home to await their release.
Everything Seemed Perfect
With the babies in good hands at the hospital, Joey and Casi waited at home with their daughters. This is when Casi started to complaining of chest pains. Clearly, this is concerning so she went back to the hospital where they determined that she had developed a blood clot from the C-section and the stress of such a hefty pregnancy. The hospital put Casi on blood thinners and sent her back home.
Bad Became Worse
Ten days after delivering her triplets and becoming a mother of five, Casi had to go back to the hospital. Her chest pains were not going away and were, in fact, getting worse. The blood clot that formed in Casi's system after her C-section caused a fatal heart attack, robbing the young family of their mother. Casi died tragically, too soon and at such an important part of their family's life.
Joey Has A Lot On His Plate Without His Beloved Wife
Joey isn't just a single father of five children, three of which are infants; he has five children under six years of age without a mother. How does one explain something like this to children as young as the girls? How does one provide for these children and care for them while working? This is an extremely difficult situation for many practical reasons beyond the deep, painful loss of a wife/mother/friend. Thanks to kind people in the community, $145,000 and supplies for the babies have been donated to help the family.
