Earlier this year, Friends fans were in a frenzy when 5 out of 6 friends got together for a long-awaited cast reunion.
Unfortunately, Matthew Perry was busy when Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer got together for a televised reunion on NBC.
The Friendscast got together to pay tribute to James Burrows, who directed several episodes of the show.
After the reunion, fans still held out for an announcement that there would be a real reunion episode.
It looks like it might not happen! Jennifer Aniston revealed the reason why she thinks a reunion wouldn't work!
While promoting her latest movie, Jennifer was asked in an interview about possibly returning to TV in a Friends reboot.
Jennifer answered honestly and said, "I don't know what we would do!"
"I think that period of time was sort of nostalgic. I think why people have such an affection for it is because... there was something about a time where our faces weren't shoved into cell phones."
She actually has a really good point!
"We weren't checking Facebooks and Instagrams. We were in a room together, or at a coffee shop together," she continued.
"We were talking, having conversations. We have lost that."
Even though it's a bummer to hear that she's not so into a reunion, she does kind of have a point. But I have hope that it still might work out! But for now, we have the reruns to watch!
