15 Unknown Facts About Leighton Meester

Who are the best characters to ever exist on TV? If you're coming up with a list in your head and you didn't include Blair Waldorf then you should be ashamed. Everybody knows that Queen B is the best! She was clearly the star of Gossip Girl because she was better than hot mess Serena van der Woodsen. And Leighton Meester is cool too! She's married to Adam Brody (even though he'll always be Seth Cohen to me) and is settling into life as a mom. Here are some crazy facts that everybody should know about Leighton!

1. Leighton had to dye her naturally blonde hair brunette just to audition for Gossip Girl. Good thing it worked out! 

2. She met Adam Brody in 2010 when they were filming The Oranges. And three years later, they got married! And now they have a daughter. 

The two greatest characters on TV got together IRL! How great would it have been if there was a Gossip Girl/The O.C. crossover?! Blair Waldorf and Seth Cohen together on screen too!

3. Leighton is all of us. She says she's addicting to texting. I wonder if she texts her Gossip Girlcast members...

OMG what if they are planning a reunion?!

4. Leighton said if she weren't an actor, she would like to be a writer. 

Just saying, she could write more about Blair's adventures...

5. Leighton was so scared that people would find out about her past. She was born while her mom was in prison because she was part of a drug ring!

Leighton thought if people found out, she wouldn't be cast in anything. 

6. She only has one tattoo. It's a blue flower with a yellow center on the inside of her left wrist.

It's so pretty! It kind of makes me want to get a tattoo!

7. She speaks fluent French and loves to visit France when she can!

8. Even though she loves Paris, she says that New York is her favorite city in the entire world.

9. Her bet friend is Emmy Rossum who is also an actor. 

10. She used to be a model when she was younger. She modeled for Ralph Lauren and... Limited Too. 

I LOVED Limited Too growing up! I wanted everything in that store!

11. Blair and Serena were frenemies on Gossip Girl but Leighton and Blake Lively were straight up enemies. Leighton and Blake never talked to each other on set!

Leighton never confirmed anything but sources said that they didn't get along because Blake trashed the show publicly and Leighton wasn't happy about that!

12. Before acting, she thought she was going to become a professional dancer! She used to take ballet and jazz lessons. 

13. Besides acting, Leighton loves to sing. She released her first album back in 2014. 

14. Leighton's favorite perfume to wear in high school was Vera Wang Princess. When Vera asked her to star in the ad for her new perfume, Leighton was so happy! 

15. Leighton is truly all of us. She HATES going to the gym and avoids it when she can.
