This Photographer Took Photos Of Dogs From Underneath

SHARE
I don't know about you, but for the most part, any photo I take usually has my dog in it. Both my phone and DSLR camera are chocked full of every cute thing my pupper has ever done and it's a hobby I don't plan on giving up anytime soon! And for anyone reading this with judgmental eyes, let's be serious — anyone with a furbaby would happily defend my need to document every head tilt, bum wiggle, and nap my dog experiences.

1. Even though I snap photos of my canine friend on a regular basis, I can say with absolute certainty that I've never taken one of him from underneath — the thought of doing so has never even crossed my mind!

2. However, after seeing the results photographer Andrius Burba was able to turn out by doing just that, I may have to consider it for future photo ops.

3. Burba decided to take photos of the underside of dogs after the success he saw when he did it with cats.

4. "Cats are very cute but dogs are more playful," he writes on his Facebook page.

5. The photographer from Lithuania noted that, while dogs seem to be more obedient than their feline rivals, their demeanor can change dramatically when they're placed on the sheet of glass he uses to take his photos.

6. According to the Facebook post showcasing his "Under-Dog" images, Burba says that while a few of his subjects weren't fazed by the strange platform, others went from playful to standing "still like a rock."

7. Not only has Burba tried this unique perspective with cats and dogs, but also with rabbits and even horses!

8. And if that doesn't sound impressive enough, he has hinted that his next "under" project is going to involve tigers.

9. As someone who likes to dabble in photography in my spare time, I'm always amazed by the creativity of other photographers.

10. And in my opinion, if you're going to spend your time photographing adorable animals, the results you produce are going to put smiles on the faces of everyone who sees them!

12. You can also purchase books and other merchandise showcasing some of his best shots!
