For Chiffon Parrish and her eight-month-old daughter Alyssa, they haven't had that...until now.
After living in a homeless shelter for quite some time, Chiffon has never felt at home. She didn't feel comfortable raising her daughter around strangers, and she always felt paranoid somebody would take her belongings.
Humble Design, a not-for-profit organization, thought it was time to give Chiffon a place she could call home.
Oh, and she also got a brand new house! Not too shabby.
Chiffon walked into her new house, and the tears immediately started flowing. Each room she walked into just led to even more tears, and you can't help but be so happy for her. All of her paranoia and concerns were left at the front door because now she and her daughter could call a place their own.
