Everyone has experienced a moment where the sound of an amazing song gives them chills. For some people, it's the blues or rock, or maybe even the sound of someone singing a cappella. Out of nowhere, you go from a completely mundane mood to one of pure emotion that is elicited by the perfect melody. For one little baby, the sound of their mother sparks a different kind of emotional response. An incredibly cute video has surfaced online of a baby that reacts in an intense way to mom singing. The little one begins crying only seconds after the mother begins the lullaby that was intended to get her baby to fall asleep. It came as a huge surprise to mom!
You have to see why this video is getting shared so much online. I wonder if this is a common "issue" with skilled singers.
The video begins with a mother trying to soothe her baby to sleep with a nice lullaby. When the mother's voice begins, her baby's eyes light up. This comes as no surprise — her voice is absolutely amazing! After only a few seconds, you see her baby's face fill with an overwhelming amount of emotion. After some unsuccessful attempts to stifle tears, this little one begins to cry. It's pretty clear that they are tears of joy as well.
After a little while, mom has to back off from singing a bit because the crying started to get a tad heavier. She knows that the emotions were nothing but a good thing and laughs a bit. As a parent, I know how powerful a simple song can be for a baby. Unfortunately for me, my children usually tell me "all done" as soon as I start singing. A different type of tears, if you will. Over time, my kids have grown to listen to their mother sing.
It looks like this mother is going to have to resort to some other method to get her baby to sleep. Her voice is too good! She might have to try driving around the neighborhood with the baby. If her voice doesn't do the trick, the repetitive bumps from driving around will surely make the baby drift off to sleep.
Don't take my word for it, check out the video above! You won't regret it. If you want to see another video of a hero parent trying to get their baby to sleep in the most amazing way, watch this video.
SHARE this video with your Facebook friends. This is pretty dang cute. COMMENT on Facebook if you're baby has ever had this reaction to you singing or playing music before. I surely haven't!
