Tara Reid Is Now In Her 40s, And She Looks Completely Different

SHARE
Unless you've been living off in the wild for the past 20 years, you almost certainly know who Tara Reid is. In the late 1990s, she hit the big screen in one of the most epic coming-of-age movies ever — American Pie — and pretty much became a household name. Since then, her popularity and career have faced a few challenges, but she's never given up on her love for acting or her dedicated fans. With Tara now being in her forties, it might be a good time to take a look back at the roles that made her famous and how she's changed over the years.

We all remember Vicky from the film franchise American Pie.

Tara won over audiences throughout North America with her beautiful smile and gorgeous looks. Her role as Vicky Lathum launched her career into the big leagues and sent Tara into the hearts of millions of fans.

But that's not where it all began.

One of her first movie roles was actually in a little horror flick called A Return to Salem's Lot. She's almost unrecognizable but still a little cutie with that curly blonde hair.

Did you know she was in Saved By The Bell?

OK, well, not the original series but the follow-up, Saved By The Bell: The New Class. Appearing as a cheerleader named Sandy, Tara is still slightly unrecognizable, but when you look hard enough, you can definitely see that it's her.

Just a year before Tara's breakthrough role in American Pie, she lit up the screens as Bunny Lebowski in the now cult classic The Big Lebowski.

Playing the young, foul-mouthed trophy wife of the Big Lebowski, Tara let audiences know just how amazing she could be on screen.

A busy year for Tara, 1998 saw her in another film, Urban Legend

Although the film didn't perform well, Tara's role as Sasha Thomas gave her another chance to shine on the big screen.

Here's the Tara we all remember.

Playing the part of the perfect girl next door, Tara took on the role of Vicky in American Pie and by doing so became America's sweetheart almost overnight.

With American Pie behind her and its sequel not quite out yet, Tara fired up another role in Josie and the Pussycats.

Playing the part of Melody, the absent-minded drummer, Tara really brought some sparks to the film. Unfortunately, the film was a bit of a bomb and didn't really help Tara's career at all.

As a follow-up to her appearance in the first American Pie film, Tara reprised her role of Vicky in American Pie 2.

Tara excited audiences everywhere when she brought back her lovely all-American-girl character to the big screen.

Shortly after finishing up American Pie 2, Tara was back with her fiery portrayal of Gwen Pearson in National Lampoon's Van Wilder.

Playing the part of an earnest campus reporter, Tara is immediately recognizable and lights up the screen every time she's on camera.

Just when you thought you'd never see her in another American Piefilm, here she is again.

Tara sadly didn't join the cast for American Wedding, the third movie in the American Pie franchise, but she did make it back in 2012 for American Reunion.

Yes, Sharknado really happened.

Just one year after her appearance in American Reunion, Tara took up the role of April Shepard/Wexler in the made-for-TV movie series Sharknado. She looks pretty fabulous in this photoshoot, but that poor shark could be in for some trouble.

Here's a shot from her appearance in the 2016 movie Sharknado 4.

Just four years after her first appearance in the original Sharknado movie, Tara is still holding her own on screen. One thing is for sure, she really knows how to rock a jumpsuit.

Since appearing in her latest films, Tara has gone on to do a few promotions and such.

Here she is promoting Sharknado 4.

In a more recent appearance, she graced the runway at Maxim's Halloween party dressed as a Greek goddess.

Her outfit gave Tara the opportunity to show off her toned new look.

From her early days of acting to her more recent appearances in media, Tara has always been a beautiful person on and off screen.

Despite some of the complications she said she experienced with her 2004 surgeries, Tara has always shown her fans that she's got what it takes to deliver on screen or on the runway.

For more than 20 years now, Tara has gathered the attention of millions of fans. From her early days as Vicky in American Pie to her performances in the Sharknado series, she will always hold a place in the hearts of '90s kids everywhere.
