George Clooney Speaks Out For The First Time About Becoming A Father

The world thought they saw it all when George Clooney announced he had given up the bachelor lifestyle for Amal. He had said numerous times before that he wouldn't dream of getting married again, but then he did it! And he seemed to be the happiest man alive whenever the paparazzi caught him and Amal out and about. Now he's surprised us again with the news that he and Amal are expecting. The announcement was made through Julie Chen, but now he's finally opening up about becoming a father for the first time.

George Clooney is set to be honored at the César Awards in France on February 24.

A lucky journalist got to interview George ahead of time and managed to get him to open up about his feelings about becoming a father for the first time. 

George was all smiles when he answered. "We are really happy and really excited. It's going to be an adventure." 

"We've sort of embracedit all…with arms wide open."

And it looks like George's friends are happy for him too. He said that when he broke the news to his friends, they had the best reaction. 

“It got really quiet, and they all just started making baby crying noises. And the whole table just busted up laughing.”
