KFC Introduces Scary But Enchanting Pizza With A Fried Chicken Base

SHARE
Food innovation is a tough, high-stakes game. Given everything that has been tried and the often finicky tastes of customers, it has to be hard to know where to start or when you've hit on something good. But you have to give credit to companies for trying. It's always exciting to see what they can come up with. Somehow even the flops are kind of interesting. They make the successes that much better, don't you think? What do you think KFC's new creation will be, hit or miss?

Is it greedy to want fried chicken and pizza in the same meal? KFC sure doesn't think so.

They've introduced a strange mixture of the two: A fried chicken base covered in melty cheese, tomato sauce, ham, and pineapple. They call it a "KFC Chizza."

Although the "Chizza" has some serious hype behind it, the reviews haven't exactly been thrilling.

And people have been posting their pictures of their Chizzas on social media to express their disappointment. Now, fast food seldom looks like it does on TV when you finally get it into your hands, but really, this looks like a box full of buyer's remorse.

And just in case you thought the Chizza was the size of even a personal pizza, check this out.

That's like three bites, maybe four if it tastes okay, and you don't want to just choke it down.

However, whether you're excited about the Chizza or not, you can't get it outside of Asia just yet.

Most recently, it was launched in Singapore. But if it tests well there, it could come to a KFC near you.

What do you think? Would you give the Chizza a try?
