13 Tricks To Make Your Eyes Look Bigger

When I wake up, there's no doubt that I look like a hot mess. My hair looks crazy, my skin looks dull, and don't even get me started on my eyes. My under eyes look ridiculously dark and puffy, which makes them look super small. Not cute! I don't want people to know how much sleep I got. I also don't want people to tell me that I look tired or sick. Sidenote: don't ever say that! It's so mean. If you want to stop getting those comments, check out these 13 tricks that will make your eyes look bigger. These tricks are so easy to follow! 

1. Concealer

I'm sure most of us wake up with under eyes that are darker than the night sky. Happens to me every morning. Sad, I know. It makes my eyes look so tiny. Cancel out that under eye darkness by applying concealer around your eyes. 

2. Eyeshadow 

Here is an awesome eyeshadow look that will help make your eyes appear bigger. Start the look off by applying a white matte eyeshadow onto your lids, and then define your crease with a matte brown eyeshadow. So easy! 

3. Lower Lid

Apply a neutral eyeshadow onto your lower lid. When applying your eyeshadow, do not get too close to your bottom lashes. This trick really helps with making your eyes appear rounder. 

4. Gray Eyeshadow

With a thin brush, apply gray eyeshadow onto your lashline and outer corner of your eye. This will not look as harsh as black eyeliner. 

5. Eyeliner

Using that same gray eyeshadow, wing out your eyeliner. This will elongate the look of your eye. 

6. Eyelashes 

Prime your lashes with an eyelash primer, and then apply mascara onto the tips of your lashes. Your lashes will look super fluffy. Yay! 

7. Falsies

Falsies will make your eyes look bigger, and they'll make you look glamorous. If you want to wear falsies, stick to natural-looking ones. 

8. Eyelash Curler

If you do not have time to apply falsies, then no worries. Just curl your lashes with an eyelash curler. I don't have the energy to apply false eyelashes in the morning, so you best believe I curl my lashes with an eyelash curler every morning. Works like a charm. 

9. Highlight

This tip is easy. Just apply a bright highlight onto the inner corner of your eyes. That's it! 

10. Brow Bone

Don't neglect your brow bone. That needs to be highlighted, too! 

11. Nude Eyeliner

Applying a nude eyeliner onto your waterline will make your eyes look so big! Exhibit A. I do this trick and it really helps. 

12. Gold

Aside from using neutral toned matte eyeshadows, gold and bronze eyeshadows work, too. These shimmery shades will brighten up your eyelid space. 

13. Tightline 

Tightlining your lash line will make your eyes look bigger, and your lashes look more luscious. A double win!
