16 Unconventionally Beautiful Engagement Rings

SHARE
I'm years away from engagement myself, but I have no shame in admitting that my Pinterest Wedding Board is overflowing with ideas. I think every girl has some amount of wedding fascination in her, and part of this fascination undoubtedly lies in engagement rings. Let me loose in Tiffany's and I'm a force to be reckoned with. And although all engagement rings are beautiful in their own way, there's just something totally lust-worthy about unique, rarely seen engagement rings.

From white sapphires to black diamonds, this list will have any (future) unconventional bride green with envy. I always thought I was more of a traditional diamond gal, but after seeing the extremely different and beautiful rings out there, I've definitely changed my mind. So whether you're headed to the altar or headed to extended singledom, read ahead for a list of 16 showstopping engagement rings for the unconventional bride.

I have never seen a stone quite like this stunning, rare tourmaline before. The seafoam green color and diamond accents make this ring a serious work of art.

The bottom part of this ring may look like a cluster of diamonds, but they're actually white sapphires! I adore this sunbeam-inspired ring set.

This engagement ring is amazing for a number of reasons. Not only is the stone a rare, blue-green sapphire, but the band was made from tiny diamonds and recycled rose gold.

A sapphire, diamonds, and hammered gold came together here to create this beautiful, bohemian engagement ring. I'm in love with the star design.

Not only is this dainty ring uniquely beautiful, but it's also extremely sentimental! The diamonds used here belonged to the groom's grandmother.

This vintage-inspired engagement ring is seriously eye-catching. The tiny, diamond-accented points are so different!

So after seeing this photo, I think I could totally rock a black diamond engagement ring. I love how the clear diamonds on either side of the black stone soften the look of the ring.

This antique-looking engagement ring is absolutely glorious. There are so many different diamonds here, I don't know where to look first.

I had no idea that sapphires came in so many different colors. This black diamond-rimmed stone is a white sapphire, not a diamond!

This is possibly one of the most unique engagement rings I've ever laid eyes on. This custom ring consists of a teardrop diamond surrounded by turquoise and gold. I can't stop staring!

I'm green with envy over this custom, emerald and diamond engagement ring. The round setting was the perfect choice for this classic stone.

Okay, this engagement ring seriouslyspeaks to me. The 2.55 karat tricolor tourmaline with diamond-encrusted edging and band is like nothing I've ever seen before. Can someone drop a hint to my future husband?

This cloudy, speckled gray stone is so beautiful. I love the diamond-encrusted clasps and unique shape of the stone.

I think I have a new obsession for aquamarine stones. Along with the rose gold setting and band, this engagement ring is the perfect mix of antique and modern.

I've never seen an opal stone used in an engagement ring before, and now I'm wondering why we don't see more of this wondrous look. The vintage diamond-encrusted ring looks like something straight out of The Great Gatsby

My favorite parts about this diamond engagement ring are the black gold halo setting and the unique shape. I can't imagine anyone saying no to a proposal including this rock!
