Adele Channeled 'Mean Girls' By Breaking Her Grammy And Dedicating It To Beyoncé

I absolutely love watching the Grammys. It's such a fun awards show! They always pair the most random artists together to perform their hit songs, and the performances always turn out amazing. This year, it was pretty clear that nobody would be able to come close to Adele performing "Hello" and Beyoncé performing a medley of hits from her album Lemonade. But the award for best moment of the night? That definitely has to go to Adele winning all the awards and still being a proud member of the Beyhive. Even before the awards were given out, it was clear that Adele and Beyoncé were the big winners of the night. 

Adele opened the show with a flawless performance of her hit single "Hello." 

And then Beyoncé was a gold goddess while she performed a medley of her hits from Lemonade.

Adele won every major award at the Grammys. When she won Album of the Year, she took that time to give a shout-out to Beyoncé. Bey even got teary-eyed, and it was beautiful. 

AKA Adele pulled a Kanye so Beyoncé could get the recognition she deserves!

"But I can't possibly accept this award, and I'm very humbled and I'm very grateful and gracious but my life is Beyoncé, and this album to me, the Lemonade album ... was so monumental, and so well thought out."

"And so beautiful and soul-baring and we all got to see another side of you that you don't always let us see, and we appreciate that. All us artists here adore you. You are our light!”

Adele broke her award in half on stage and the fans went crazy! The internet in all of it's glory immediately thought of the moment in Mean Girls when Cady Heron breaks her crown in pieces to share with the other nominees. 

I love that Bey and Adele are such good friends.
