Mother Warns About Dangers Of Happy Meal Toy At McDonald's

SHARE
With every passing day, it feels like there are fewer and fewer companies trying to cater to the needs of the customer. It's becoming more about pinching every penny you can rather than giving the customer the best possible experience. McDonald's, however, has often been an exception to this rule. When people complained about their meat, they switched to real beef. When breakfast sandwiches all over came under scrutiny for using powdered egg mixtures, they reassured customers of their fresh eggs. Best of all, they give kids something to look forward to inside of every Happy Meal. Well, until now.

Look how cool those toys are! Who could ever be mad at them?

They've had a pretty spotless record when it comes to the toys. They've also had A LOT of different toys over the years.

And despite their declining popularity, they're still hanging on and making new toys, like this fitness tracker.

Since the Olympics are going on right now, what better toy than a fitness tracker for the company sponsoring the Games?

Of course, something had to go wrong.

Facebook user Casey Collyar recently warned parents about the toys.

"If your kids have this happy meal toy do not let them play with it. Cason has a burn after playing with the toy for about 8 minutes."

And, according to WTHR, Casey isn't the only parent claiming her child has been burned by the not-so-happy toy.

It looks like green pools weren't the only Olympic-related disaster these Games.

McDonald's has some explaining to do...
