Victim Of Horrifying Glass Attack Shows His Wound Heal In Incredible Time Lapse Video

SHARE
Several years ago, Alan Crowley was viciously attacked with broken glass out of nowhere in a Dublin bar, leaving him with a large facial wound. Before the attack, the 26-year-old had started his own "selfie project" that involved progressively taking a face picture to see how it changes over time. During this project, Alan was attacked and he decided to keep taking selfies every day to show the progress as his wound healed. The resulting transformation is fascinating to watch.
SHAREthis article with your Facebook friends. This time lapse is remarkable.

Here's Alan before the horrendous unprovoked attack that severely injured his face.

He was already involved in a pretty neat project where he would take a selfie of himself everyday for fun. These videos are quite common online these days...

Little did he know that his life would change during this selfie project in a sudden and violent manner.

These would be some of the last pictures of his face before he was attacked in a pub.

This is when his time lapse became even more powerful...

The attack was quite gruesome, but as you can see, Alan even finds a chance in the hospital to snap a selfie.

That's some kind of commitment.

Even when Alan left the hospital, the wound still significantly affected his left eye and left a large wound.

You can already see the swelling start to diminish.

Over time, much of the bruising remained, but the wound is already significantly smaller that it was.

At this point, the bruising has almost cleared from Alan's face.

Some small bandages were placed on his face, but other than that, it's hard to see the wound.

The progression get's even more interesting after the actual wound has closed.

At this point, the wound has basically closed.

From this point on, you get see the scar change over time.

Wow!

It's hard to imagine that it would get any less noticeable than this.

Somehow, the scar is shrinking.

The recovery from this horrendous glass attack seems to have disappeared from Alan's face entire, except for a slight scar.
