When it comes to tattoos, there are some real stinkers out there, but most of the time it's the result of bad taste or a terrible tattoo artist. However, in truly unfortunate circumstances, some people get inked without realizing exactly what they're getting engraved on their bodies. Yep, a lot can go wrong with language translations, and the next people are proof that if you don't speak the language, you might not want to get the tattoo!
1. That's an interesting nickname
2. It was supposed to say "I'm free"...
3. Some people don't even bother with the translation
4. Yep. You read that right...
The next disaster is what happens when you use bad translation sites...
5. I hope they're paying you for that advertising
6. Maybe the tattoo is referencing itself...
7. Some phrases don't translate so well into Arabic
8. Yep, it can happen to people who don't speak English too
Full text reads: "You will have it if belongs to you whereas you dont kvetch for it if it doesnt appears in your life"
The next tattoo is pretty gorgeous, too bad that one word ruined it...
9. I mean, rice is good...but really?
10. The tattoo artist clearly had his own creative vision
11. Spelling certainly makes a difference in meaning...
12. You can't trust everything you see on the internet
The next one is just plain weird...
13. What?
14. It's doesn't get more profound than that
15. It was supposed to say freedom...
16. My question exactly...
Some people get tattoos to honor family members...needless to say, it doesn't always work out...
17. "Honor thy father and mother?" Not quite...
18. Interesting...
19. Sure, it was supposed to say "Fast and Furious," but this one sums the tattoo up better
20. "To persevere" got an interesting translation
21. Hopefully, the tattoo was too
22. It's supposed to be ironic, right?
23. That'll be fun to explain to the parents
