He's cooler than anyone I can think of.

Commander William Riker was the witty first officer of the ship who was charming women left and right.

Deanna Troi was the half-human, half-Betazoid who was literally the hottest female character on the show. But which Hollywood bombshell would replace actress Marina Sirtis?

Denise Crosby plays Tasha Yar, chief of security and tactical officer but for the remake it'd be:

Gwendoline Christie who rocks Sir Brienne Of Tarth on Game of Thrones but would play her perfectly. 

The funniest most noble android in fiction, Commander Data was the second officer and operations officer gave the Spock "outsider" perspective on humanity.

But who could replace Brent Spiner?

Mr. Robot's paranoid protagonist would play the perfect curious outsider Data in the TNG remake.

Whoopi Goldberg played the PERFECT Guinan AKA the El-Aurian bartender in the ship's lounge and was one of the warmest characters on the show.

She's tough and I think she could do A LOT more outside of the bar too.

BUT THEN who'd play LaVar Burton would play Geordi La Forge, who played the ship's helmsman and chief engineer??
