When you spend enough time with someone who grew up in a different era, that difference in generations can fuck with you sometimes. When it comes to style or behavior, stuff that seems perfectly normal to them becomes the lamest thing in the world in our eyes. On the flipside, they can sometimes feel like they need a translator when we start using slang or when we get our music up.

As you might expect, this confusion can lead to a lot of embarrassment. It usually happens by accident at first, but if your reaction is funny enough to them, parents can make it their mission to be as corny as possible. But if they do it too much, they can soon learn that it's a two-way street. Hehehe.
