Twitter Noticed That These Pictures Of Charles And Diana Were Oddly Staged

I know I'm not the only one who is obsessed with the royal family. The younger generations adore Prince Harry, and of course, the lovely Prince William and Kate. Back in the '80s and '90s, the world was obsessed with a different royal couple: Princess Diana and Prince Charles. Twitter has been busy lately looking back at old pictures of the two, and they happened to notice a pretty strange height difference in some shots. Being the sleuths that they are, many people quickly pieced together what went down, and it's rather suspicious if you ask me.  

Let's start from the beginning, shall we? 

This is Princess Diana. She was adored by millions around the world, and her tragic death in 1997 is still remembered today.

This is the Queen's son, Prince Charles. 

Charles married Diana in 1981, and he has been married to Camilla Parker Bowles since 2005. 

The world watched with careful eyes as Diana and Charles embarked on their newlywed life. 

They would eventually have two sons, William and Harry. 

But we're getting ahead of ourselves here. Twitter happened to notice one pretty suspicious thing about all these pictures of Diana and Charles that we had never picked up on before.

Besides Diana's fabulous jacket, what's something you notice about this picture?

The answer: Charles is always taller than Diana. 

Nothing wrong with that, right? WRONG. 

Twitter has discovered that Princess Diana was actually the same height as Charles, but Diana was always seen as shorter in professional pictures. 

Believe it or not, this happened over and over again. 

You could argue that Diana is simply wearing heels and that's why she sometimes looks like she's the same height as Charles...

But a quick Google search proves that they were both 1.78 m (or 5'10").

It's too bad that Diana was always photographed as being shorter than Charles. We really wish that she could have shown off that height of hers more often.

Of course, we had to see if Prince William was made to appear taller than Kate Middleton.

And while he does appear taller than Kate in pretty much every photo...

It's only because William is actually several inches taller than Kate. So unless she decides to wear some sky high heels, there's not much to be done about that height difference. 

The same thing goes for Prince Charles and Camilla.

Camilla is a few inches shorter than Charles, so there's no need to cover up any of her height.

All eyes have been on Prince Harry and his new girlfriend, actress Meghan Markle. Photos of them together are pretty rare still, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that again, Prince Harry is much taller than Meghan.

By the way, I am so on board for this relationship, as secretive as it is. They seem so perfect for each other!
