This 'Teen Jeopardy!' Contestant Actually Used A Meme To Answer The Final Question

SHARE
There have been some pretty hilarious answers over the years on Jeopardy!and they never fail to amuse us. This weeks answer on the Teen Tournament had us literally crying. When Sabrina didn't know the answer to the Final Jeopardy question, she followed her comedic gut and gave a meme for an answer. We're not so sure Alex Trebek understood the joke, but the audience definitely did. We're sure someone explained it to Alex later on.

The Final Jeopardy question for the Teen Tournament was: Roughly half the size of Texas, it's the largest structure made by living creatures and can even be seen from space.

With $9,600 in winnings, Sabrina had made her bet before she knew what the question was going to be. To her dismay, she had no idea what the answer was.

(By the way, the answer was the "Great Barrier Reef")

She seemed to be totally okay with losing, though, as she answered the question with, "What are... THOSE?" The audience and other contestants erupted with laughter, but Alex didn't find it as funny.

The super popular meme came after a Viner, Brandon Moore, questioned an officer's footwear choices while pointing a camera to his shoes and shouting, "WHAT ARETHOSE?"

Ever since then, the meme has been recreated countless times and is basically taking over the world.

Seriously though.

Sabrina may not have won Teen Jeopardy!, but she won our hearts, and that's what matters.
