These photos below have been very controversial. They are interesting by far, but many people find it hard to believe that they are real. It's hard to blame them because with technology and Photoshop, it's easy to manipulate a photo into making people believe it's something else.

These nine photos below are in fact REAL and have not been manipulated by Photoshop.

1. Sooo this is scary!

This shot is 100% real and was captured on a slide filmFuji Provia 100 using a Nikon F5 Camera and 17-35 mm lens.

2. Inspired by Pixar's Up!

The people of National Geographic have created this 16 feet by 16 feet floating house for their new TV series, "How Hard Can It Be?" There are 300 helium filled weather balloons attached to that house!

3. Is the town small or is she giant?

Photographer Julia Fullerton-Batten created this photo series called Teenage Stories. No Photoshop used, just small scale villages and life-size models!

4. Yes, that's her actual waist size!

Cathie Jung has a corseted waist measuring 15 inches and un-corseted is 21 inches. When she hit 38 she started wearing a training belt that slowly reduced her then 26-inch waist. She has never had surgery!

5. Just a little girl riding an alligator in the 1920's...

6. It's not a painting!

This is just a brilliant photograph of a painting by photographer Alexa Meade.

7. Thumbnail Turnip Rock's

This exact island is actually located on the rocky shores of Lake Huron!

8. Clouds in a can?

This is called "God's Canvas" by Deviant Art user Delacorr. Just a tricky camera angle, that's all!

9. Upside down house?

This place is called WonderWorks and is located in SW Orlando on International Drive. It's an interactive museum with over 100 exhibits including laser tag, a magic show, and dinner show!
