There is no doubt it, Star Wars is one of the biggest film series in cinema history. From the time the original film came out back in the '70s, people have been going crazy about it. I don't think I'm alone in saying that as a kid I always dreamed of being in a Star Wars film. In fact, I remember seeing Episode I: The Phantom Menace and being jealous of the little boy who got to play Anakin Skywalker. Remember him? I wonder what he's up to now...

Jake Lloyd was the lucky kid who got to play Anakin in the
Star Wars prequel trilogy.
At the time he as only 10 years old.
But this wasn't his first time on camera...
Lloyd's first role was in ERas Jimmy Sweet.
After
EReveryone wanted a piece of Lloyd.
Just two years later, he was cast in Jingle All The Way with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Jingle All The Waywas a hit and has since emerged as a holiday classic.
It was Lloyd's part in this movie that led him to Star Wars. The role was clearly the biggest of his career, but he's since veered away from the spotlight.
So what has he been doing?
He spent the next few years reprising his Star Wars role in several video games.
And in 2005 he made his last on-screen appearance in the film Madison.
He also became a regular in the convention circuit.
He was often spotted signing autographs for young fans. But then he got into some trouble with the law.
In 2015 Lloyd was arrested.
He was charged with reckless driving, resisting arrest and driving without a license.
But that's not all...
His mother then opened up about Jake's situation. Apparently he suffers from schizophrenia.
After serving 10 months in jail, the authorities thought it was best to send Lloyd to a psychiatric facility.
His family and friends just want him to take his time and get better.
The actor admitted that he had hard time with his post-Star Wars fame, but now it seems like his mental health issues are getting worse.
