It takes a lot of work for him to maintain his size. Eating a lot is key. I don't mean an extra burger here and there, this guy needs to eat roughly 12,000 calories a day. To put this into perspective, the average male is recommended to consume 2,700 calories a day.
So what does he eat? We have the inside scoop on his daily food routine.

He's a real-life strongman.
Most people recognize him from his role as "The Mountain" on Game of Thrones, but Thor has placed several times in the World's Strongest Man competition. He even placed second overall in 2014.
He made one simple demand when starring on Game of Thrones.
He asked that his work on the set not interfere with his eating schedule. In an interview, he said, "If I skipped meals, I'd just get lighter." So what does this fella eat?
He starts off at the crack of dawn (6:50am) with a handful of almonds.
Throw in some branch chain amino acids (BCAA) and glutamine supplements as well. For those of you who are wondering, BCAA aids in protein synthesis.
Not even an hour later, he sits down for a true breakfast of champions.
Eight eggs!? He's sure to add in oats for some fiber and quality carbs.
OK, this is getting insane.
For his second breakfast, he scarfs down a 400-gram slab of steak, 400 grams of sweet potatoes, and a handful of spinach.
Lunchtime!
More sweet potatoes and a healthy serving of chicken. Lean protein, baby! That isn't all he eats for lunch, though...
It's 2 p.m. Smoothie time.
More oats, two bananas for some sugar and potassium, Rice Krispies, and various fruits and nuts.
5 p.m. protein snack. More bananas?
Dinner #1.
Dinner #2.
Most of us go to the fridge for an evening snack and grab a cheese stick or some ice cream. Not this guy.
He crushes a half dozen eggs, an entire avocado, a handful of almonds, and a slab of peanut butter.
Apparently you have to eat like a beast to be one.
