Australia Votes Yes For Gay Marriage And The Internet Is So Proud

Yesterday, Australia voted yes to gay marriage in a survey, something that is making history for the country. While the survey is not legally binding, it's a huge step in the right direction for parliament to legally recognize same sex marriages. 

In an interview with the New York Times, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said, "The Australian people have spoken, and they have voted overwhelmingly yes for marriage equality. They voted yes for fairness, they voted yes for commitment, they voted yes for love."

Of course, there's an outpouring of support being shown all over the internet and all over the world. 

People are celebrating this moment with so much love and joy.
