As the only boy in the family I had to make a lot of my own fun, so naturally, this sometimes led to disaster. I've broken plates, broken bones... all sorts of things. In the long run, it made me a better person because now that I'm an adult, I've come to realize how expensive all that stuff is!
It's no wonder parents get so upset when their child's acting up in a store. Not only is it incredibly embarrassing, but the thought of having to pay for something they break?
No thanks.
1. To start off, don't forget the part you played in all of this
2. This is the only way to ensure that Christmas won't be spoiled
3. Not only do kids waste your money, they tear it up for the fun of it!
Luckily, you've seen enough Doctor Who to pinpoint who the culprit is
4. They want to act all grown up, but complain when adult meals don't come with Happy Meal toys
5. You should probably just lock your kid in their room on April Fool's Day
6. While most students will be happy to know the ending so they don't have to waste their time, the English major in me weeps
7. This is the real reason minivans are such a hit. More places to hide your trash
8. Playpens can work one of two ways
9. Despite your insistence that they don't talk to strangers, they continue to disobey you
10. They complain that their life is so tough, when in reality it's never been easier
11. Sometimes they ask some pretty zany questions and don't accept your totally plausible answers
12. And when you ask them a simple question, they come up with a smart answer for you
13. And then sometimes, they get real philosophical on you
14. Sometimes they trust their instincts before thinking out the consequences
15. Sometimes you've got to get creative with your punishments
16. When you encourage them to be anything they want to be, they don't strive for the same heights you envision
And instead, they become a fart... A fart
