Black Racer Snake Suffers Mild Seizure

There are so many things in this world that are oddly frightening. This, of course, is completely subjective because it depends on what you're afraid of. But for the most part, there are many fears which are common. Personally, I'm afraid of heights, insects, and everything else in the world. Yeah, I'm not the bravest person in the world, but that's alright. There's something about insects and spiders that completely terrify me. Those little creepy crawly critters can just walk around wherever they please and there isn't a lot we can do to get rid of them, but if we do, that just means more bugs for us to deal with!

A common fear amongst humans, however, is the fear of death. For all we know, it can come at any time and in any way. What also doesn't help is that no one is certain as to what happens after death. Sure, we can speculate and we're all allowed to think what we want, whether it be something to do with an afterlife, or that life comes to an absolute end. At the end of the day, it's an unknown matter — and not being able to know things is something that frightens us the most. I mean, human beings are constantly coming up with solutions to every problem, but death is the one issue we seem to be unable to fix to solve.

One way we can prevent it, however, is by keeping good health. On the flip side of that is the fact that, despite being healthy, some people can be predisposed to certain medical conditions out of their control. Take the snake in this video, for example. It's just slithering about, doing its snake thing, but it seems... Off. Eventually, the snake starts coiling up and that's when it happens. BOOM, it begins to seize out of nowhere and it's really, really weird. At first, it looks like it stiffens, then the head of it starts flailing around in an extremely violent manner. Then it starts to unravel and even begins rolling across the ground until it finally comes to a complete stop. Honestly, I've never seen a snake have a seizure — I always imagined it as an impossibility — but this definitely woke me up.
