Trucker's Dashcam Shows Why It's A Bad Idea To Cut Off An 18-Wheeler

Life is filled with so many surprises. Realistically speaking, there will always be something happening in our day that we couldn't account for. Otherwise our lives would be filled with absolute monotony. Thankfully, these surprises are generally small, amounting to nothing that can truly harm us, though there are often exceptions. Take driving, for example. There are age restrictions and quite a few rules in place to prevent people from acquiring their license if they're unable to safely drive. Sadly, some people still slip through the cracks, and you can never truly know what will happen on the road.

Let's be honest, transport trucks are terrifying. What one trucker captured on his dashcam only solidified my fear.

The cam just shows the trucker driving merrily down the highway... at first.

Then, someone merges in front of him, though they do it with enough space for the trucker to realize it.

What most people don't realize is that truckers' blind spots are a lot bigger than ours, not to mention that the huge truck can't react as quickly. This person up next found out the hard way.

Despite clearly not having enough room, the person still tries to merge. Instead of veering entirely off the road, the trucker tries to move onto the shoulder to let the car to move back.

"Oh hey, I better try to merge where I clearly can't!"

Oh hey, a failed attempt to merge? Better try to get back in there!

And that's when it gets bad. As you can clearly see, her car is being taken for a ride.

Lucky for her, both trucks responded in a way that spared her life, avoiding the worst that could have happened.
