The world is literally at our fingertips these days. We can instantaneously find our location, find a restaurant nearby that fits our exact wants and desires, and it's all incredibly easy. You probably love this aspect of new technology, but you've probably also wondered what kind of information major companies like Google and Samsung have about your whereabouts.

First, just make sure you are signed into the Google account you are on the most. Hold on to your seat because the screen will literally fill up with your past locations.

This also means that if you have your account automatically signed in, anyone looking at your phone can also find out where you've been...

So how can I turn it off?

This tracking will only occur if you have Location Services turned on. This is basically a signal to your phone that you want your location tracked by GPS. This option is pretty simple to find on most iPhone and Android phones. 

You can also delete the location history by going back to the original Google Maps Timeline service by clicking on the calendar.

But, hey, if you don't mind having your location tracked, leave it on! People have actually drawn out hilarious stuff with it. :)
