Woman Exposes Salon After They Destroy Her Hair And Threaten To Call Police

Imagine this: you've been growing your hair for five years, and you decided that you'll save up money to get an ombre done. The day finally comes and you end up looking like a lollipop. How would you react? Because, for 24-year-old Lianne Smith, this happened, and it went sour quickly.

According to Lianne, it took the salon three tries to end up with her hair like this, and even then they couldn't get it right, getting worse with each attempt.

The hair salon claims that they SPECIALIZE in ombre, suggesting that Lianne needs to leave her hair dye in for six hours. The end result? Instead of going from a slick, Jenner-esque silver ombre, she ends up as a "Fruit Pastille lollipop."

As if destroying her hair wasn't enough, the salon eventually threatened to call the police on her. Lianne told Daily Mail:

I can't believe how bad it looked. The hairdresser told me it would be hard to get silver hair when my natural colour was so dark, but even so it was a really bad job. I looked like a Fruit Pastille lolly with three separate blocks of colour, it was mortifying.

After three appointments my hair just looked completely frazzled and had started to go ginger - it seemed to get worse after each visit. I felt a total mess and had to tie my hair up every day over Christmas.

She even threatened to phone the police about me. I just want to warn people about her so nobody else wastes their money.

Let's do a quick run down of what this salon did to her: ruined her hair, threatened to call the police, suggested she was trying to get a freebie from them, and took three tries to get it even worse. Oh, and they also took her money:

At my first appointment, she said she could do the style that I wanted and that they even specialised in doing ombre styles. I was told it was going to cost £38 but once she'd put the bleach on, she said it would be £78. She said she put special stuff in so that you could leave bleach in for as long as you wanted, which cost an extra £20.

I only had £70 with me so I felt embarrassed not being able to pay the full amount. I didn't think it looked great but I was too soft to say anything at the time.

After this debacle was displayed on Facebook, a salon named Chrysalis offered to fix her hair for free. After it was all said and done, another salon came to save the day and gave Lianne something she truly loved.
